I. How to avail

  1. Go to China Airlines website at www.china-airlines.com/sea/en.
  2. Scroll down and click "more" under the Current Offers.
  3. Then select, "BPI EXCLUSIVE SALE".
  4. From the BPI EXCLUSIVE SALE page, scroll down and click "Book Now".
  5. Input 1st 6-digits of your participating BPI Credit Card or BPI Prepaid Card details.
  6. You can now start booking your desired flight to select China Airlines destinations, choose your desired travel date, input how many passengers will travel, and choose an available flight schedule. See LIST OF PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTED FLIGHTS above for the select China Airlines destinations.
  7. Click “Next” to continue your booking.
  8. Upon selection of the desired flight and preferred schedule, you will be redirected to log-in as a member or to continue as guest.
  9. The next page will require you to input the passenger information.
  10. You may also choose other China Airlines services to add-on, such as, Prepaid Excess Baggage, Special Meals and others. After availing of any of the other services, or if you do not want to avail of the other services, you may click “Next” to proceed.
  11. On the payment page, enter your participating BPI Credit or Prepaid Card’s details.
  12. Once payment is successful, China Airlines shall send you a copy of your itinerary and receipt through your registered e-mail address. To avail of your flight, you will have to ensure compliance with China Airlines’ Credit and Prepaid Card Verification policy stated below.

1. Only purchases using a participating BPI Credit or Prepaid Card through the China Airlines website at bit.ly/BPIchinaairlines qualify for the Promotional Discounted Fares.
2. The other China Airlines services which can be added during your booking are not subject to any discount under this Promo.
3. If changes must be made to the bookings, China Airlines reserves the right to confirm the dates available for rebooking, impose penalties, and/or require payment of the corresponding fare difference.
4. Note that the following rates apply to children in accordance with China Airlines’ policy:

 a. Child Rate: Adult rates will apply for children 2 years and above;
b. Infant Rate (below 2 years of age): 10% of the published adult rate.

 5. Promotional Discounted Fares are exclusive of government taxes and surcharges.
6. Premium Economy Class is only available for connecting flights from Taipei to Europe and/or USA.
7. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Flights purchased online using a participating BPI Credit or Prepaid Card is subject to China Airlines’ policy on Credit and Prepaid Card Verification, as follows:

China Airlines’ Credit and Prepaid Card Verification:
For Online transactions with prepaid and credit card payment, the cardholder must go through Credit and Prepaid Card Verification before travel. The passenger will encounter denial of boarding at the airport or will have to buy another ticket for the booking if the required verification has not been properly completed.

a. The procedure of Credit and/or Prepaid Card Verification is as follows:

i. A credit or prepaid cardholder who is part of the travel party, being a passenger in the same booking, and has paid for travel for himself/herself and travel companions using his/her own card, can process his/her card verification at the airport check-in counter for the initial flight on the itinerary by presenting the actual physical credit or prepaid card that was used for the purchase of the flight booking. (In view of the time limit during airport check-in, and because check-in may be handled by contracted airlines that may not be familiar with such practices, it is highly advisable that the cardholder contact China Airlines in advance to make sure someone is available to help at the airport.)
ii. If the name on the credit or prepaid card is different from the name in the booking record, the credit or prepaid card verification should be processed according to sub-Section b below.

b. If the credit or prepaid cardholder is not part of the travel party (not named as a passenger in the booking), he or she must process the verification in one of following ways:

i. During business hours, visit a China Airlines office at China Airlines, Ltd, GF 1322 Golden Empire Tower, Roxas Blvd, Manila or at China Airlines Ticket Office, RM 447 4th Floor, NAIA Terminal 1, Pasay City at least 48 hours before travel date. All necessary documents (for the complete list of documents, click HERE) must be prepared beforehand, including the actual physical credit or prepaid card used for the purchase. This cardholder must sign China Airlines’ “Indemnity of Payment” form in front of a China Airlines city office staff.
ii. Process the verification at the airport during the check-in period for the initial flight on the itinerary. All necessary documents (for the complete list of documents, click HERE) must be prepared beforehand, including the actual physical credit or prepaid card used for the purchase. This card holder must sign China Airlines’ “Indemnity of Payment” form in front of a China Airlines airport staff. (In view of the time limit during airport check-in, and because check-in may be handled by contracted airlines that may not be familiar with such practices, it is highly advisable that the cardholder contact China Airlines in advance to make sure someone is available to help at the airport.)

9. BPI reserves the right to charge the discount to the participating BPI Credit or Prepaid Card should the purchase of the Cardholder be found fraudulent, e.g. stolen cards, compromised account, skimming, phishing and identity theft.
10. Any dispute concerning the promotion, including China Airlines’ Credit and Prepaid Card Verification, shall be settled directly between the Cardholder and China Airlines, in concurrence with DTI.
11. Promo is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing promo and other discounts including senior citizen and PWD discounts and other government mandated discounts.
12. In case of dispute, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if dispute involves China Airlines and its performance and/or delivery of services and/or products to customers, subject to the General Provisions set out above, the decision of BPI and China Airlines with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
13. Terms and conditions governing issuance of BPI Cards and reminders and other provisions contained in card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to instances where they are applicable in this offer.
14. The qualified BPI cardholders agree to indemnify, and hold BPI as well as any of its officers, employees, or representatives, free and harmless from any and all loss, injury, liabilities, claims, demands, suits, damages, and expenses, of whatever kind and nature, should there be any, arising out of, or in connection with the services of China Airlines, including, for avoidance of doubt, China Airlines’ Credit and Prepaid Card Verification procedure.
