Prepaid Card Limits 

All BPI Prepaid Cards have an accumulated daily and monthly load limit. These limits are the same regardless of the number of prepaid cards a cardholder has.

Monitoring Prepaid Card Balance and Load

Below is a guide on monitoring your balance and load limits.

1.  Balance

To monitor your prepaid card/s balance, visit BPI Online, go to ‘Inquire your Prepaid Card Balance’ and input your 16-digit card number. If you have more than one prepaid card, the P100,000 limit is shared regardless of the number of cards you have.

2.  Load

If you have one prepaid card:

Simply deduct the current balance of your BPI Prepaid card from the maximum daily load limit of Php 100,000.00 or maximum monthly load limit of Php 500,000.00 .

If you have two or more prepaid cards:

Deduct the current balance of all your prepaid cards from the maximum daily load limit of P100,000.00 or maximum monthly load limit of Php 500,000.00.

 

Notification on Exceeding Limits 

In case you have exceeded your balance and load limits, you will receive the following notifications:

First

An SMS notification will be sent and a BPI representative will be calling.

Ensure that balance and load of your prepaid card is within the monthly limits to avoid temporary blocking of the card

Second

An SMS and eDM will be sent notifying the cardholder that his/her prepaid card cannot be used for one month.

*The prepaid card may be used again after a month 

Ensure that balance and load of your prepaid card is within the monthly limits to avoid temporary blocking of the card.

Third

An SMS and eDM will be sent notifying the cardholder that his/her prepaid card can no longer be used.

Go to any BPI branch and request for transfer of remaining load to your deposit account.
