Prepaid Card Limits 

All BPI Prepaid Cards have an accumulated daily and monthly load limit. These limits are the same regardless of the number of prepaid cards a cardholder has.

Monitoring your Prepaid Card Balance and Load

Below is a guide on monitoring your balance and load limits.

 

1. Balance

Below are the following channels where you can monitor your prepaid card/s balance:

For BPI Prepaid Cards enrolled in Online Banking, you may access your balance by logging in to BPI Online or BPI Mobile App

For unenrolled Prepaid Cards, here are the following channels:

  • BPI Online
  • BPI Phonebanking 
  • BPI ATMs*

*applicable to BPI ePay Mastercard and BPI ePay Visa Cards only

2. Load

If you have one BPI Prepaid Card:
Simply deduct the current balance of your BPI Prepaid Card from the maximum daily load limit of Php 100,000.00 or maximum monthly load limit of Php 500,000.00.

If you have two or more BPI Prepaid Cards:
Deduct the current balance of all your BPI Prepaid Cards from the maximum daily load limit of P100,000.00 or maximum monthly load limit of Php 500,000.00.

 

Notification on Exceeding Limits
In case you have exceeded your balance and load limits, you will receive the following notifications:

First

An SMS notification will be sent to the cardholder and a BPI Phone Banker will be calling to remind the daily and monthly load limits.

Ensure that balance and load of your BPI Prepaid Card is within the monthly limits to avoid temporary blocking of the card

Second

An SMS and eDM will be sent to the cardholder that his/her BPI Prepaid Card cannot be used for one month.

*The card may be used again after a month 

Ensure that balance and load of your BPI Prepaid Card is within the monthly limits to avoid temporary blocking of the card.

Third

An SMS and eDM will be sent to the cardholder that his/her BPI Prepaid Card can no longer be used.

Go to any BPI branch and request to transfer the remaining load to your deposit account.
