1. The promo is open to Principal Credit Cardholders of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and BPI Family Savings Bank (BFSB) in good credit standing.

2. The qualified cards are as follows:

3. The Promo Period is from August 1, 2019 to October 31, 2019.

4. To qualify for the promo, the Principal Cardholder must meet the following requirements:

a. Register to the promo within the Promo Period

b. Make a qualified purchase using a qualified BPI Credit Card within the spend period

c. Unlock the Netflix Rebate

d. His qualified BPI Credit Card is registered as the payment method of an active Netflix account




1. The Principal Cardholder MUST REGISTER his BPI and/or BFSB Credit Card 16-Digit Customer Number through SMS, e-mail, or both within the Promo Period using the following format:

2. Principal Cardholder holding multiple BPI Credit Cards with the same customer number only needs to register once.

3. Principal Cardholder holding a BPI Credit Card and BFSB Credit Card must register the unique customer number of each of the two cards from different legal entities, respectively.

4. Only the Principal Cardholder is eligible to register for the promo.

5. Principal Cardholder will receive an auto-reply to confirm receipt of his registration entry through SMS, email or both depending on the channel used for the registration. The auto-reply is not yet the confirmation that the registration is successful.

6. Principal Cardholder will be notified of status of registration, whether successful or unsuccessful, through SMS, e-mail or both within two (2) banking days from the registration date.

a. Principal Cardholder will receive a confirmation via SMS and/or email from BPI informing him that his registration is successful.

b. BPI will provide the reason for reason for unsuccessful registration to the BPI Principal Cardholder.

7. For multiple channel registrations, the Principal Cardholder can choose to register both his mobile number and e-mail address simultaneously or at different times.

8. The mobile number and/or e-mail address used for registration MUST BE THE SAME with the BPI Principal Cardholder’s contact details in BPI Credit’s system records. Should there be any changes, it is the responsibility of the Principal Cardholder to update his contact information in BPI Credit Cards’ system records.

9. In case the mobile number and/or e-mail address does not match with BPI Credit’s system records, the BPI Principal Cardholder is required to update his contact information through any of the following channels:

10. The BPI Principal Cardholder MUST register again after two (2) banking days from date of contact information update.

11. For lost mobile phones resulting in changes in the registered mobile number or email address, the BPI Principal Cardholder must update his customer information first prior to registration of the new mobile number and/or e-mail address.



1. Once successfully registered, the Principal Cardholder should use any of his qualified BPI Credit Cards within the Spend Period for a minimum single-receipt purchase requirement, as follows:

2. Multiple BPI Credit Cards owned by the same Principal Cardholder, including his supplementary cards, will be considered as one customer. Qualified purchases earned across different BPI Credit Cards including his supplementary cards, having the same Customer Number, will be consolidated and considered as one.

3. However, purchases earned across different BPI Credit Cards of different legal entities (BPI and BFSB will be considered as two separate customer numbers and will not be consolidated as one in computing for the qualified transactions and earning of keys.

4. Only qualified and posted transactions made after his successful date of registration, will qualify to earn key(s).

a. Principal Cardholder will NOT be qualified to earn any key(s) from his qualified and posted transactions if he is NOT registered to the promo.

b. Transactions made prior to the successful date of registration are NOT qualified to earn any key(s).

5. Principal Cardholder can get up to a maximum of thirty (30) keys equivalent to six (6) months of Netflix monthly basic subscription.

7. The following are NOT qualified transaction:



1. Principal Cardholder must have earned 5 keys to unlock one (1) Netflix rebate equivalent to a 1 month basic subscription plan worth P370.

2. Principal Cardholder must access the BPI Unlock campaign page through www.bpiunlock.com.ph/XXXXXXXXXX sent via SMS and/or email & use the earned keys to unlock the Netflix rebate. Principal Cardholder will not be qualified to earn the Netflix rebate if he has not used the earned keys to unlock the Netflix rebate in the BPI Unlock campaign page.

3. Awarding of the Netflix rebate will be in the form of a cash credit (worth P370).

4. Only one (1) Netflix rebate will be credited each month to the Principal Cardholder’s account.



1. To receive the Netflix rebate, BPI Credit Card must be the card used as payment method of an active Netflix account enrolled through the Netflix website.

2. The Netflix subscription fee must be reflected in the Principal Cardholder’s statement of account.

3. Netflix subscription via other payment channels other than Netflix website is not considered qualified

4. BPI shall extract from its system and identify the Principal Cardholders who have unlocked the Netflix rebate every 10th banking day of the following month.

5. BPI shall inform the Principal Cardholder via SMS and/or email once the Netflix rebate has been credited to his account. The Netflix Rebate will be reflected in his Statement of Account within the next 1-2 billing cycles.

6. If upon day of extraction, the Netflix subscription fee is not reflected in his statement of account, BPI shall not credit the Netflix Rebate and shall inform the Principal Cardholder via SMS and/or email. To receive the Netflix Rebate, the Principal Cardholder must enroll his BPI Credit Card as a method of payment of his Netflix account. The Principal Cardholder’s earned and unlocked Netflix rebate will be included in the next month’s extraction from BPI’s system.

7. Principal Cardholder who used more than one (1) BPI Credit Card sharing the same customer number as payment method of more than one (1) Netflix account will only be qualified to earn the Netflix rebate once per five (5) keys earned.

8. The Netflix Rebate cannot be cancelled, reversed or applied to another item

9. The Netflix Rebate is/are not convertible to cash or credit.  It may not be exchanged with any other product.

10. The Netflix Rebate is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing promotions, in-house promo or ad promo, and other discounts including senior citizen on Section 4 of Republic Act No. 7432, as amended by Republic Act No. 9257, otherwise known as the “Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2003” (the grant of twenty percent (20%) discount and exemption from the value -added tax (VAT), if applicable, on the sale of the following goods and services from all establishments, for the exclusive use and enjoyment or availment of the senior citizen) and PWD discounts on Section 32 of Republic Act No. 7277, as amended, otherwise known as the “Magna Carta for Persons with Disability” (At least twenty percent (20%) discount and exemption from the value-added tax (VAT), if applicable, on the following sale of goods and services for the exclusive use and enjoyment or availment of the PWD: (1) On the fees and charges relative to the utilization of all services in hotels and similar lodging establishments; restaurants and recreation centers).

11. The rebate cap of up to a maximum of thirty (30) keys equivalent to six (6) months of Netflix monthly basic subscription will apply per customer number, per legal entity.

12. The Principal Cardholder agrees that his sign-up to Netflix, including all obligations, subscription fees and charges incurred, is covered by a separate agreement between the Cardholder and Netflix.

13. The Principal Cardholder agrees that should his redemption be found to be fraudulent or is a result from splitting of transactions, BPI shall have the right to charge the Suggest Retail Price (SRP) of the item to his BPI Credit Card.

14. The Principal Cardholder who have NOT logged in to the BPI Unlock campaign page and/or have not unlocked the Netflix Rebate using the earned keys shall be forfeited after sixty (60) days after the end of the Promo Period. All Netflix rebate earned but NOT unlocked shall be forfeited after December 31, 2019.

15. The Principal Cardholder has until January 31, 2020 to enroll his BPI Credit Card as payment method to his Netflix account. All unenrolled BPI Credit Card as payment method to his Netflix account upon extraction from BPI’s system on the 10th banking day in February 2020 shall no longer be qualified to be credited with earned Netflix rebate.

16. Fraud, abuse, or any unauthorized action on credit card transaction or the participation/availment in the promo may result in the disqualification of the cardholder from the promo, suspension and/or cancellation of card privileges and/or the charge of the full cost of the Netflix Rebate redeemed to the BPI Principal Cardholder’s account, according to BPI’s discretion.

17. In case of dispute with respect to BPI and the customers' availment of promo, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if dispute involves participating Merchant and its performance and/or delivery of products to customers, subject to the General Provisions set out above, the decision of BPI and participating Merchant with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.

18. BPI is authorized to give necessary information to its third-party contractor or agent to perform and complete the redemption process.

19. Terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of BPI Cards and reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments or such other channels or electronic applications selected by BPI, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this promo campaign.
